The Craig Wins Amarillo Community’s Choice Award

On October 16, 2025, The Craig was honored with the Amarillo Community’s Choice Award for Best Retirement/55+ Community—a recognition that reflects the heart and dedication of our team and the vibrant spirit of our residents.

At The Craig, our mission is to enrich the lives of seniors through personalized care, innovative programs, and a welcoming environment. From our thoughtfully designed amenities to our compassionate team members, everything we do is centered around helping residents live their best lives.

Located on 40 scenic acres in northwest Amarillo, The Craig has been a cornerstone of senior living since opening in August 1997. At the time, it was the largest construction project in the city during the 1990s. Today, our campus includes a full continuum of care featuring independent living apartments and cottage homes, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing residences, and rehabilitation suites.
