Lifespace Communities, one of the nation’s largest nonprofit senior living organizations, announced that Jennifer Burton joined the senior living organization on July 28 as vice president of regional operations supporting Lifespace’s four Texas communities. In this role, she will report to Brian Robbins, Lifespace’s chief operating officer, and lead overall daily operations for the Texas region.

“Jennifer is a dynamic, proven leader with a strong grasp of both the operational and human aspects of senior living,” said Robbins. “Her strategic thinking, collaborative spirit, and heart for servant leadership will strengthen our communities and move our strategy and mission forward across Texas.”

Burton brings decades of senior living and healthcare leadership experience, including roles as chief operating officer, CEO, and director of operations across senior living, post-acute, and healthcare organizations. She has successfully led operational transformations, cultural revitalization, and innovative care delivery initiatives that have resulted in improved resident satisfaction, financial performance, and clinical outcomes.

“I’m looking forward to supporting Lifespace’s mission-driven approach to its senior living communities and making a meaningful impact through operational excellence, team development, and resident engagement,” said Burton. “It’s exciting to collaborate with community leaders to drive operational excellence, elevate resident experiences, and foster a culture of purpose to ensure our communities are places where residents thrive and team members feel empowered.”

Burton holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Dallas, as well as master’s degrees in speech-language pathology and audiology from Baylor University. She is a licensed nursing home administrator in Texas and a Certified Assisted Living Manager and Certified Dementia Practitioner.

Lifespace’s Texas communities include The Craig in Amarillo, Meadow Lake in Tyler, Querencia at Barton Creek in Austin, and Wesley Court in Abilene.
