Lifespace Communities Welcomes Mark Barglof as Executive Director of The Waterford

Lifespace Communities, one of the nation’s top 10 largest nonprofit senior living organizations, announced Mark Barglof as the new executive director of The Waterford in Juno Beach, Florida, beginning May 29. Barglof brings over 25 years of leadership experience in healthcare and senior living, including key executive roles at Presbyterian Village in Georgia and the Good Samaritan Society in Florida.

“Mark’s approach to leadership emphasizes teamwork, strategy, and consistent follow-through,” said Chief Operating Officer Brian Robbins. “His commitment to enhancing the resident experience while fostering empowered and effective teams makes him an ideal fit for The Waterford and the broader Lifespace family.”

Barglof is excited to return to Florida and begin working alongside the residents and team members at The Waterford. “Throughout my career, I’ve focused on building strong, collaborative teams and creating an environment where residents receive excellent care and support,” he said. “Joining Lifespace is an incredible opportunity, and I’m honored to lead this vibrant and well-respected community.”

A former college football player, Barglof understands the power of perseverance and strategic thinking. He holds bachelor’s degrees in both long-term care administration and hospital/business administration from Concordia College and is a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator.

The Waterford offers a comprehensive continuum of care, including independent living, skilled nursing, and rehabilitation services.
