The safety of your loved ones is of critical concern to all of us at Lifespace Communities, Inc. (“Lifespace”). This update is to provide you with a few of the procedural changes Lifespace is making to focus on our clearest priority – keeping our residents and team members safe.
As of this update, we have no diagnosed resident or team member cases of the Coronavirus (“COVID-19”) at any of our communities. We will remain vigilant in our efforts to protect our residents and team members during the Coronavirus pandemic.
We continue to implement procedural changes at our communities in step with guidance received by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and States’ Departments of Health. As such, the following changes have been implemented:
- Many states, counties, and cities are issuing stay-at-home or shelter-in-place orders. As a result, residents in all Lifespace communities are being asked not to gather in communal areas or individual apartments, and all private and public gatherings, regardless of the size, are suspended.
- Communal dining in all venues and across all levels of living has been suspended. Meal delivery is being provided with all delivery charges waived.
- All residents and team members are asked to practice social distancing and rigorous hand hygiene in their daily interactions with each other.
- Residents are strongly encouraged to only leave the community for essential needs like medication, critical medical appointments, and groceries.
If you are attempting to speak with a family member at one of our Lifespace communities and are unable to reach them, please contact Lifespace at www.lifespacecommunities.com/contact or call your community directly.
