Hurricane Dorian Update [September 4, 1:00 p.m. ET]

With Juno Beach now in the clear from Hurricane Dorian’s path, we have returned to normal operations across our community. We anticipate this will be our final storm-related update. Thank you for your patience and support during this period.

 

Hurricane Dorian Update [September 3, 1:15 p.m. ET]

We continue to closely monitor the path of Hurricane Dorian and are sheltering residents and team members in place. We will offer a buffet lunch today and a packed dinner for the evening. Activities are on a modified schedule today.

 

Hurricane Dorian Update [September 2, 12:15 p.m. ET]

We continue to closely monitor the path of Hurricane Dorian. Our campus-wide storm preparations are complete. We will follow up today by going door-to-door to ensure all windows are secured. The plan is to shelter residents and team members in place. Normal food and beverage service will continue today until 5pm, and we will provide an additional meal for each to take back to their apartments for use while we shelter in place. Activities are on a modified schedule today.

We will continue to watch the storm and update plans accordingly. We remain under normal operations and all programs and services remain unchanged.

As Hurricane Dorian approaches the Florida coast, we are taking appropriate precautions and working with local authorities to ensure the safety and well-being of our residents and team members.

We will be sharing regular updates on our website throughout the duration of the storm to keep you informed on the latest news from our community.

Residents and family members are invited to call the Lifespace hurricane hotline at 866-705-2273 to obtain storm-related information 24 hours a day. This line will provide the latest update on the storm situation at The Waterford. We will strive to respond to all voicemails we receive in a timely manner.
