Hurricane Dorian Update [September 4, 1:00 p.m. ET]

With Delray Beach now in the clear from Hurricane Dorian’s path, we have returned to normal operations across our community. We anticipate this will be our final storm-related update. Thank you for your patience and support during this period.

 

Hurricane Dorian Update [September 3, 1:15 p.m. ET]

We continue to closely monitor the path of Hurricane Dorian and are sheltering residents and team members in place. We will follow a modified meal schedule today with buffet offered at all meals, working to keep dining services as close to normal as possible. We continue with a modified activity plan for today. Hurricane shutters will stay in place today.

 

Hurricane Dorian Update [September 2, 12:15 p.m. ET]

We continue to closely monitor the path of Hurricane Dorian and finalize our campus-wide preparations, which includes closing all hurricane shutters this morning. The plan is to shelter residents and team members in place. Dining services are currently following regular hours, and activities are on a modified schedule. We will notify you when any of the dining services are changed based on any changes in our conditions.  We continue with a modified activity plan for today.

 

Hurricane Dorian Update [September 1, 1:30 p.m. ET]

We continue to closely monitor the path of Hurricane Dorian and complete our campus-wide preparations. We will begin partially closing hurricane shutters on the building this afternoon. For now, the plan is to shelter residents and team members in place. We will continue to watch the storm and update plans accordingly. We remain under normal operations and will continue to do our best to sustain normal operations as conditions permit. Dining services will follow regular hours through Sunday. Internal activities continue uninterrupted, however the outdoor entertainment scheduled for early next week has been canceled.

We continue to closely monitor the path of Hurricane Dorian and complete our campus-wide preparations. For now, the plan is to shelter residents and team members in place. We will continue to watch the storm and update plans accordingly. We remain under normal operations and will continue to do our best to sustain normal operations as conditions permit. Dining services will follow regular hours through Sunday. Internal activities continue uninterrupted, however the outdoor entertainment scheduled for early next week has been canceled.

 

Hurricane Dorian Update [August 30, 3:40 p.m. ET]

As Hurricane Dorian approaches the Florida coast, we are taking appropriate precautions and working with local authorities to ensure the safety and well-being of our residents and team members.

We will be sharing regular updates on our website throughout the duration of the storm to keep you informed on the latest news from our community.

Residents and family members are invited to call the Lifespace hurricane hotline at 866-705-2273 to obtain storm-related information 24 hours a day. This line will provide the latest update on the storm situation at Harbour’s Edge. We will strive to respond to all voicemails we receive in a timely manner.
