You might already have noticed that at age 50 or so, the balance subtly shifts, and people begin to collect fewer things and more memories. At about 70, experience rules, and the possessions that once delighted the spirit can be a burden. The smart move would be to shift the pivot point — to that of a different time, when wonder prevailed, and when what mattered was the moment, the companions, the adventure.
